This is the worst designed ship ever, and we have been on 33 of them. One of the main reasons we like cruising is the "private balcony". We like our view to be water. When we walked out on our"Private Balcony", our view was, a jogging path, a giant chess board, lounge chairs, 2 hot tubs and noise. As appose to our view of the ocean, there were people lying in chairs looking up at us, children screaming jumping in and out of hot tubs, and people playing a big chess board game. Last year we cruised on Splendor, it had a dome. This ship does not. It rained 3 days. All of the deck activities were cancelled. This ship is no larger than any of the Conquest ships. It is designed differently. The atrium is smaller, the show room is smaller, the dinning room is smaller. They added that ridiculous deck in front of the balconies to block the view of the water,,and they advertise the ship as there largest. We are sticking with RCCL. If we ever cruise carnival again, It will never, ever, be on that nightmare DREAM.
There are only 2 things, we did enjoy on that disastrous ship one was, a group called, "FUN FORCE'. They were fantastic, and the "Legend show". The lead female singer in the main show, screamed so loud we had to take aspirin before interring the theater to see "FUN FORCE". If you like looking out on your balcony only to see, what I have described above, have fun. If not get your money back. If you can't get your money back, you have my deepest sympathy.
