Cabin: Crown Loft Suite

We just disembarked Symphony of the Seas last Saturday and what a beautiful ship it was. When I first cruised Oasis on its inaugural season almost 10 years ago I found the ship to be amazing but overly crowded and unorganized at times, last year on Harmony I noticed this was not the case and again on Symphony they've seemed to have everything under control. At not point did I ever feel that I was cruising on a ship with 6000+ other passengers. Also at no point did we notice that this was only the second official cruise of this new ship. The crew was professional and very organized.

We were booked in cabin 1702 a crown loft suite, this was our first time in this category cabin and I feel spoiled, I don't know how I will go back to any other cabin. It was four of us in one cabin so it helped out a lot having two bathrooms and with this cabin it gave us concierge lounge access which was great. The Concierge Raj and Jackie were amazing, they helped us out with excursions and dining reservations and I never heard them say no, they truly spoiled us. Also with being in a Crown Loft Suite it gave us access to Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After attending Coastal Kitchen on embarkation day for lunch and truly enjoying ourselves we made this our place to eat breakfast and lunch on most days and twice for dinner. The food and the staff in Coastal Kitchen was excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner. We had dinner in Coastal Kitchen on the two formal nights and we purchased a 5 night dining package for the rest of the nights because to be honest after cruising on Harmony last year we've grown a little bored with the food in the dining room. The 5 night dining package provided great value and we used it at Wonderland, Chops, Hooked and twice at Park 150. Park and and Chops were our favorites. At chops the steak and all the sides were executed very well. We also enjoyed the entire dining experience at Park 150, as a matter a fact we enjoyed it so much that we changed our reservations from Jamie's to Park one more time with our same server, Hichem, because we enjoyed it so much the first time around. Wonderland was good but having previously dined at Wonderland on Quantum and Harmony I found it to be a bit repetitive and it didn't blow me away like its had done on previous occasions. Hooked was very good as well, and I have nothing negative to say. We dined in the Windjammer one more for breakfast and we were disappointed with the options and the overall quality of the food.

The shows on Symphony were great but the new aqua show Flight and Hiro still had not been introduced while we were on board, but the new ice show 1977 was great. We also enjoyed the comedians.

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite

Cabin L1

We loved our Crown Loft Suite, in the description of this cabin it lists this cabin as an obstructed view, this is because there is a small mechanical lift used to clean the balconies and windows that is stored to the right of this cabins balcony but its not very noticeable and it not once blocked out view of anything. The cabin itself was spacious and well thought out and our cabin attendant Stefan was excellent.
