Sail Date: December 2009
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Costa Atlantica Dec 19-26th We were on this cruise with our 3 children... Dis/Embarkation compared to Norwegian and Carnival was way superior and hassle free. When you've got 3 kids with you the best system ever was on Costa Atlantica.

We do cruises for overall satisfaction and I would give this one a 9 out of 10. I've been on 10 out of 10 and this one just didn't make it. The food could have been better. Although we are not big eaters. Loved the desserts but the meat quality was so so. Entertainment was wonderful. Such wonderful friendly staff made you feel special for the entire week. Don't know how they did it but their smiles were many to pass around. I participated in one of their contests (Bartender) and won...he he Andrea (the Cruise director) was sooooo much fun. Roman night was sooo much fun that we had not had on other cruises.

Overall it was lots of fun for my kids as well. The kids club was perfect... and the kids would sing Carols all over the ship (so More cute). Dante's night club was fun too. Needed more entertainment for the night owls. The pictures taken by staff were poor quality so we didn't buy any. The shops didn't have much exciting products either. We'll take this cruise again and love Costa!!!!! Especially our Metre dit Francesco!

Must say, Norwegian Pearl (Dec 2008) was the worse ever. Less
