On reading the Thomson in flight magazine on the way back from a 14 night cruise on the Island Escape I came across an article on how Thomson was responding to customer criticism. The first bullet point described how 400 of their worst hotel destinations had been removed from their brochures. I think they should seriously consider adding the Island Escape to this list.
Here are my criticisms of the cruise I have just experienced.
1. Cabins - they creak and make loads of noise when you are trying to get some kip - so take some earplugs. We found cotton wool pads wedged into the right parts of the cabin furniture can help reduce (but not kill) the rattling sounds. The loud creaking noises cannot, although I tried on a number of occasions.
