I won't make this long. There are enough other cruise reviews to read.

In a nutshell, we LOVED our cruise. I cruised once 20 years ago with my senior class from high school, so I don't count it any longer. This was my boyfriend's first cruise and our first together. I had read everything I could on Cruise Critic before we left, knew what to expect and we had a great GREAT time!!

The food was very good. We ate in Windows a few times, Raffles often, paid for Cagney's once (delicious!), and the Blue Lagoon thing once. ALL tasty! As has been mentioned before, Raffles food COULD be hotter, but we ate there mostly for breakfast and I got cooked to order eggs every day (eggwhite omelet with spinach, tomato, bacon, and onion) and thought it was too fabulous to miss sitting in the sun on deck eating breakfast!

Cabin OA

our cabin was fine. (8510) It had a large window. The walls were metal, as was the door. We decorated with magnets and some static cling items to decorate for Christmas...with not issues.

We were in the middle of the hallway, port side, far forward. The only noise was when docking--the thrusters or something were really close and it made some noise, but we were already awake.
