Arrived at the port around 12:00 pm. Boarding was beginning as we arrived. The line seemed long but proved to move very quickly. We were on the ship in 30 mins. and went straight to the South Beach Lido restaurant for lunch. We were unable to go to our cabin until 1:30 pm, so we ate lunch and looked over the ship until cabin was available. We had a balcony room that was nice size and clean. The balcony light didn't work, but we like the dark anyway.

The muster drill no longer requires the life-jackets be worn which was a real plus. The only problem was the drill took quite awhile and didn't end until after sail away. We always enjoy watching the ship leave and on this cruise there wasn't anyway to be able to see.

The ship is understated by Carnival's standard in decoration. Less neon and more of an upscale feel.
