Traveled with children

Independence of the Seas is an impressive 160,000 ton ship. Great ship for the kids with a rock climbing wall, flow rider, mini golf, game room, card room, full court basketball court, H20 zone and lots of places to eat.

It took an hour to get on the ship as they had to sanitize the ship delaying boarding.

Overall the food was average in the dining room. The food improved as the cruise went on. In most cases the soup was hot and meals came out hot which considering there is 4200 passengers impressive. Windjammer the food was average for lunch. Finding a turkey sandwich was not happening. Dinner was better with Sushi every night.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin d1

We had a balcony cabin. Nice room with a comfortable bed. 214 square feet. Typical bathroom. Average balcony that rattles when it is windy.
