The NCL Sun was a bit of a gamble as the reviews at the time of booking were not that good. Embarkation at Vancouver was the normal hassle experienced at any gateway to the USA [which Alaska is ]but you cannot blame NCL for that.

We have been on cruises before last last being Cunard. We had no great expectations but were pleasantly surprised. The excursions were 'different' to say the least and they were very good value.

Breakfast on the we had been warned about " not enough seats etc." however we managed OK the rest of the meals were OK and the specialist restaurants were very good.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Closet was OK for us two.The balcony was great. The cabin was a very good size. We had no noise or other issues. The neighbours were great and everyone on board was very pleasant and very sociable.
