We left Brisbane Friday afternoon with Virgin Blue to Sydney, connect with Hawaiian Airlines to fly to Honolulu, no complaints with the flights. We were able to check our baggage straight through from Brisbane to Honolulu.
We arrived Honolulu Friday morning (a group of six of us). It was cheaper for us to all go in a limo (approx $35.00 USD) to our accommodation at the Ala Moana Hotel, than pay individual fares on the shuttle bus.
Everyone's room was ready for check in except ours. I was able to pay $20 upgrade to a suite and check in immediately. We took this option so we could change, leave our bags and hit the shops. We were there for the Black Friday Sales - the shopping was awesome for us Aussies.

Mid-Ship Balcony
cabin 9612, mid-ship. near the elevators - but never heard a noise. central access to everything. wouldn't hesitate to have this cabin again. very adequate storage.
