The Equinox is the most beautiful ship we have been on. The public spaces are elegant. I was most impressed by the different style chairs and side tables throughout the ship. Very, very well done. As we were on board the Christmas decorations were being put up---exquisite, especially the poinsettias lining the staircase.
Embarkation was a very long procedure....however, the seating was comfortable and it is always interesting watching people. On the plus side the cabin was ready and our luggage was there.
The safety drill took place in the dining room minus life vests. There was a video to watch which most of us could not see. I'm not sure how I felt about that--however, in the event of a real emergency you would follow the immediate instructions being given.
great location and balcony--on the start of the hump, very quiet, comfy bed, great full length mirror, not enough drawer space, good closet, bed high enough for luggage to fit under it, great german-made hairdryer, slight urine smell outside door one or two days.
