Finally people are talking about the horrible smell on the Equinox. We sailed back to back Oct 23 starting with the ancient empires and then transatlantic to Ft Lauderdale in cabin 9263. The smell was obvious immediately but got increasingly worse as we traveled. Our cabin steward assured us the problem would be taken care of. When we questioned him we found out fixing the problem meant spraying a deodorant spray inside our cabin. They actually started leaving our veranda door open during the day to air it out. The halls filled with the stench and even went as far as the stairwells. I actually saw people holding kleenex over their noses as they went by our cabin. Our clothes started to smell and we put them out on the balcony to air out before we wore them. The bathroom got so bad I couldn't put on my makeup in there and was even afraid to leave my toothbrush. If you can imagine living in an "out house" for 28 days then you can relate.

We did have a couple of other incidents too. A woman coming back from a tour tried to steal my purse off the xray belt and all I got from Celebrity was a shrug of the shoulders. We also purchased a bottle of wine and mine was served in a dirty glass with lipstick on the rim. He took my glass back to the bar and poured it into another glass and said to me "that should be better". I told them that wasn't very sanitary and was told that's the best they could do.

There were other cabins around us experiencing the same stench and was told it was also on deck 10 and 11. Wake up people and demand this problem is fixed!!!
