I am said to say that the Carnival Freedom was not a very pleasant cruise. The design of the ship kept everyone bottleneck especially when dinner and the shows let out. Everything was right there on the fifth floor, all the bars the dance club the teenagers hangout the casino everything. The ship was not easy to navigate. the only floor that allowed you to get from end to the other were the ninth floor where the food was. and the fifth floor where all the bottleneck was. You go into the sports bar to watch a game you seen more cricket or ladies golf. They offer popcorn one night for a nominal fee " huh". The balconies were very small if you wanted to stretch out you had to the turn the lounge chair sideways away from the sun to sit outdoors. Nothing on TV to watch. I realize you don't go on a cruise to watch TV but there are times when you're chilling in your room, I shouldn't have to pay for a decent movie. They only had so many stations. Half were all about Carnival cruise line. Four to five were pay to order. There was TNT that showed the same thing and there was know sports station so you could at least catch a score or two. For the ship to be only two years old,it seemed like the engines rumble a lot. One time at dinner the engines must have rumble so loud for at least 3 to 5 minutes that when they finally stop. Everyone on both decks of the dining hall cheered a loud applause. There were other issues that just added up to a horrible time on this ship. Up to this point we had only sailed with Royal Caribbean. That is where we will be from this point forward

Cabin Review

Cabin bal

Had a balcony right off the elevators and over the disco, so you can imagine how much noise we endured. The balcony itself was small the room was a nice size. You have to bring a power strip, there is only one power outlet in the whole cabin
