Embarking/Disembarking Procedures - Magnificently organised. Luggage left us at Manchester airport and was next seen in our ships cabin on arrival in Barbados. You step off the plane in Barbados, straight onto a bus, and straight to the ship. No customs or waiting around which is great after a long flight. Return journey is very much similar. Luggage is taken from you night prior to departure and you see it next in Manchester. No customs to go through as you go straight into departure lounge. Food - Quality of a very high standard. You would pay a high price to eat in a top restaurant in England for what was served to us. Drinks - Far from cheap. A beer costs $7-13 including service charge, so if you are a budding alcoholic this is not the place for you. Top advice is to buy a soft drinks badge on arrival on board the ship, this entitles you to as much as you like in soft drinks throughout your entire cruise. Cabin - We had an inside cabin with a double bed, and although small it was comfortable for us as we had little intention in staying in the room for long periods of time. Ship - The ship is modern, comfortable with 14 decks. Staff - Very helpful and polite and can't do enpough for you Entertainment - This was the main let down for us as we found it poor in quality, dated (aimed mainly at the wrinkly's)and amateurish. How some of the entertainers pasted auditions is beyond belief. Conclusion - We had a magnificent time and would do it again. Everything was not perfect, but we visited some magnificent places, was looked after by the staff and ate like Kings. This holiday is a bargain.
