My wife and I had first heard of this Cruise from Friends, as they had taken it 2 years ago, in 2007. After hearing their stories, and upon discovering they liked it so much they were willing to sign on again for a second tour, we decided to join them for a special celebration of my milestone 60th birthday in December of 2009.

This trip truly spoiled us for all future Cruises we will take, and established new benchmarks for ease, access, intimacy, friendliness and adventure. An all-inclusive cruise, from the time we left Seattle, to Quito, Ecuador, on to the Galapagos, and back to Seattle 11 days later, the Celebrity Xpedition Staff performed with near flawless precision to ensure a superb experience.

With only around 90 passengers, the ship was a perfect size, and we especially enjoyed the fact that everything was included in the price - no being nickel and dimed at every turn - all the food, drinks, interim hotels and all transfers, shore excursions, entertainment, crew tips....everything was covered. This contributed to a completely relaxed atmosphere while aboard the vessel and ashore.
