Another fantastic cruise on Celebrity! This was our 3rd time with Celebrity and our 2nd time on Century itself. Refurbished? It was hard to tell where they did it because the ship looked just like we remembered it from 1999. Absolutely beautiful everywhere: Clean and like new carpets; shiny, spotless and well maintained public areas, very professional, courteous and friendly staff, gorgeous intimate clubs with fantastic bands, and stunning high quality theatrical productions. We went on the Christmas week 5-night cruise, and the Christmas decorations were plentiful, tasteful, of a highly refined quality, and not overdone or gaudy. Everyone from the Cruise Director to the Islands Cafe wait staff said "Merry Christmas" to us every chance they got. No fear of offending anyone with a heartfelt "Merry Christmas" greeting on this ship! All of the classic Christmas carols and singing was heard throughout the ship and the Christmas Eve show was sweet, funny, and very traditional. Just a wonderful experience! We even had groups of sweet little children caroling in the hallways as they practiced for their little spot in the performance! Very sweet, and once again, traditional!

Food? Once again: Top Shelf! Best in the industry. We ate most of our meals in the Islands Cafe and still received personal service at each of the many food stations, whether it was sushi, stir fry, breakfast omelettes, or any of the many other tasty options, the lines were never more than 10-12 people, and they handled everyone with punctuality and professionalism. We even had roast duck, coconut chicken, and salmon teriyaki right off the buffet one night, and they were all sensational!

The Christmas Eve "Tree-Trimmers Buffet" was also an orgy of chocolate treats, traditional cookies, cakes, fruits, all presented complete with ice sculptures, fruit sculptures, and all sorts of decorations that touched our hearts and made us smile. Then Christmas Day was another level yet again with a bountiful brunch of breakfast foods, traditional Christmas dinner, such as roast turkey, leg of lamb, roast smoked ham, dozens of hot and tasty vegetable dishes, all topped off with an infinite and scrumptious variety of cakes and desserts of exquisite taste and freshness.

4092 had a ticking sound in the ceiling. They never did fix it and it disturbed my sleep a wee bit.
