First cruise for my husband and I,and never again!!!! The embarkation excellent was this a taste of things to come?I would not recommend stateroom E105 unless you are a limbo dancer and very fit-two overhead bunk beds that were stowed but still making it impossible to get into either side of the bed standing,best method slide in from the bed end.The cruise out 4 days at sea 4 days to long,I was really disappointed with the theatre entertainment and the on board activities I really was not impressed with Karaoke,bingo ,charades as a form of entertainment that you make yourself.The cabin staff were excellent and the food at Canaletto's was good but a bit repetitive by the second week.Luckily we made friends with some great people and we had all read that the excursions were of poor standard and a rip off.We shared a cab and paid about a quarter of the price and had some excellent days a shore. I really think that the lines should have average ages of passengers as ours was approx 80+ and was not helped by a large amount of electric scooters.zimmer frames and the walking wounded. The formal nights were a disappointment as they were just another opportunity for the photographers to make a killing as was every time we go off the boat!! A tip (excuse the pun) for new cruisers, check your on board account after the first week and get the charges taken off we wanted to tip those we had good service from and it is your choice. The stop a Mexico was disappointing, the only excursion we went on with the cruise,Flea market worth the ride but they struggled to fill the 5 hour trip. Getting off the ship a night mare, disorganised chaos, and LA airport an absolute farce- it took us 7 hours in total until we finally waited to get onto the plane.We have checked in on line,but that made no difference to getting our luggage checked in.Terminal 3 LA or Virgin Airlines are just not equipped to handle volumes of passengers. Would I cruise again most definitely NO.
