Dream I think not..a rude awakening to a nightmare!!
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
This dream is a cruisers nightmare.
Placement of cabins over places that create a lot of noise..now really, who would dream this up? Oh! that's why its called the dream!
Having to go through one dinning room to get to the other, why not have a passage way around the Crimson restaurant so you don't navigate through others dinning. Otherwise you have to navigate up or down and back to get to your restaurant if your on the 3rd or 4Th deck. This is also a problem if leaving the Scarlet restaurant and want to stay on the same deck, you have to navigate through the crimson restaurant to go forward.
Now really just a tiny bit of foresight would have eliminated this problem!!
Now as to the food..I guess because of so many meals to prepare at the same time, so many have to be prepared ahead of time so when you get your meal it is barely More warm.
Now as far as the cabins, they were nice the size about the same as other ships. Some major problems with our first cabin: (One) A constant noise in the wall like a leak which could keep someone awake at night. (Two) The cabin being on deck 6 just over the Encore was like hearing and being in the show if you went to bed before the last show was over.
The second cabin only minor noise from the casino just below, except when the screaming and siren that would go off I guess when someone won.
Now on the positive side the places for the children looked like they were nicely laded out and the ship was beautiful. Less
Cabin review: 4d
All my cabin reviews are stated above: THE CABINS TO STAY DEAFENTLY AWAY FROM WOULD BE THE ONE'S ON DECK 6 DIRECTLY OVER THE ENCORE LOUNGE! AND THE ONE'S DIRECTLY OVER THE CASINO SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ONE'S TO STAY AWAY FROM FOR SOME LIGHT SLEEPERS. ***Final Note the Music being played in the passage ways all the time day and night did bother my wife who is a light sleeper. Check the ships deck plan to view these cabin numbers!
