NCL PEARL - Dec. 09 (Eastern Caribbean)
We went to our honeymoon to the incredible NCL Pearl. It´s our first cruise and definitely our way to cruise. We loved freestyle cruising. We decided when to eat, when to sleep, when to visit shops, when to do whatever we wanted to....
EMBARKATION / DISEMBARKATION
Very very fast, altough I thought that as for Miami Port, it would be slow. Not at all, It was hardly 10 min, and we were onboard the ship. Disembarkation was about 5 min and 5 min of customs, so it was pretty quick.
FOOD
Amazing!!!! We went to the buffets and a la carte restaurants, (GARDEN CAFE; SUMMER PALACE; BLUE LAGOON; INDIGO; SKY HIGH GRILL) Amazing food, clean. Eventhough it was the same food almost all days, there was plenty of things to choose that I hardly chose the same for two days.... Summer Palace, real good.
Extra-charge: We went to Teppanyaki, Cagney´s, Lotus Garden and Le Bistro... All of them were amazing. Excellent service. Excellent food. They really are worth the extra cost. Choose the new package, I think it was 4 specialty restaurants for $50 bucks.... It´s really a must.
SERVICE
Excellent, way to go.... we were on our honeymoon, also ask for the honeymoon package, with strawberry´s and champagne, spa mandara massage and cake party. It was really good. The only thing we didn´t say was animal towels, so I kind of missed that.
SHORE EXCURSIONS

We went to Cayo Levantado, incredible beach. The people selling stuff there are kind of desperate to sell, but you just have to continue walking or just tell them NO THANK YOU... Beach is really good and also piña colada! Some people told us that is better to go to Cayo levantado, if not, don´t go anywhere else, it´s really bad and nothing to see in town....
St. Thomas USVI
Excellent, great shopping. We didn´t took a excursion, we went on our own to the town, and made some shopping... Really great place. Maybe on another trip we will go to the beach...
Tortola BVI
We took the Beach Break tour.... they take you to a small scenic drive and then 4 hours to the beach. It´s good, maybe because we got some rain, but it was just good, maybe better things to see.
Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas
Excellent beach, music, piñas coladas, beers, buffet barbeque from NCL (included) so it´s real nice... great crystal water beach... a must see.
ACCOMODATION
Mini-Suite (a must), it definitely worth the extra 150 bucks.... you get a tub and larger bath. Also, on the 11th floor and close to most things... It´s really great.
We are looking forward on cruising on NCL....
As for now, NCL EPIC 2011.
We really want one on 2010, but we both work, so it´s hard...
