This is my second cruise with Princess. On this Southern Caribbean cruised we called upon Princess Cays, St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire and Aruba. Maybe it was the time of the year but it seemed there were a lot more people and a lot more of those mobile scooters on the ship! The ship is similar to the Caribbean Princess with new additions I noticed such as The Piazza in the center of the ship, the free Ice Cream Bar on the Lido deck, cookies and cream hour by the pool, the LED screen of lights on the stage at Princess Theatre.

As before, we booked an inside cabin only this time around, we had 3 people in the stateroom. So the room we had was a bunk-bed style room with the 2 upper bunks folded against the wall and brought down by the steward during turn-down service. It is really a small space for 2 people, much less 3 but we made it work. The TV was a flat panel situated over the mini bar. There was a safe, a fridge and plenty of storage space. I would've liked a larger shelf in the shower stall to hold my shower gel, etc.

I celebrated my birthday on board. On the day specified during the booking process, the door to my stateroom was decorated with 4 balloons and I received a notice to hand over to the headwaiter during dinner. Upon which, during dessert, I was presented with a small cake with a candle, a birthday card and a huddle of waiters singing me the birthday song.

Cabin Review

Inside stateroom located on Caribe, deck 10. We were right behind the elevators but never heard any noise. Numerous drawer space. We didn't run out of hangers in the closet as we brought some of our own. Small fridge in the stateroom. Room steward replenished the ice bucket inside daily. TV set is a flat panel. Small bathroom. Sitting on the toilet means you can wash your hands at the same time. Creative use of overhead shelves add to the storage space in the bathroom. Tiny shower. Bending down inside the shower stall with the curtain closed would be difficult for people who are not agile, mobility-impaired or plus sized. Would've liked a bigger shelf inside the shower to hold my shower gel.
