First things first! 80s Cruise was spectacular. An entire week of great music, great people and great times! Definitely look into it if you’re looking for something special! The boat was great. Captain Alex was hysterical and so friendly, he did a stand up skit that would rival any comedian. The members of the crew were fantastic and a bit overwhelmed at times, the 80s cruise crowd were all about drinking and having fun, a number of the crew said they were amazed at how much fun everyone and the cruise itself was! The Summit herself was a great boat. Pools, spa, restaurants etc, all of it; pretty fantastic. We ate in Quisine, a great experience. Tuscan grill was really good, we ordered half portions of a bunch of dishes so we could sample a lot of the menu. Sushi place was excellent(sorry I forget the name) but the sushi was super fresh! We loved the buffet and only ate in the main dining a handful of times. It’s nit a preference thing, it’s a flow thing. We like to get busy doing things and being involved in enjoying our vacation without time constraints or schedules on any level so, we opt to hit the buffets more often than the MD, even with the my-time stuff. MD to me is about dressing nicer and being casual and sometimes, I just want to wear my crocs, shorts and a T-shirt and I don’t feel that’s respectful attire to subject others to when they’re dressing up a bit more. Just my two cents. Anyway, the buffet was bangin! Flat out good to really good each day. No, it doesn’t compare to MD dishes and yes, MD is better in the sense that it’s more restaurant level offerings. The couples massage at the spa was cool, but it’s a punch in the wallet’s mouth for what you actually get. I’m thinking stone massage next time or, a bucket of beers and get my feet done. Our cruise hit Cozumel, we didn’t venture far but, we did enjoy fresh salsas, chips and real Mexican foods. A little shopping and some laughs in Senor Frogs were how the day unfolded. Grand Cayman was next. Drinks, good eats and plenty of sun and fun on 7 mike beach. Beautiful restaurant right on the beach, $$ but nice. Next up: Dunne’s Falls Jamaica. Do it. Don’t ask questions, do it. Get some beef patties and Red stripe to celebrate your conquest afterwards! Coco Cay followed up and man, I love this island. It’s fun, there’s a hammock swinging from a palm tree waiting for you there and delicious Pina Colladas...best ones I’ve ever had. Plenty to do or, not to do on this wee island. P.S. It’s MY ISLAND. I’ll fight you for it. HAHAHAHA. Summit is a fine boat. Movie screen in the back, check out a film or sports in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Def get the cabanas! Basketball court up top in the aft section. I’m allergic to basketball so, I can’t help you with any opinion there. Two pools and a few nice jacuzzis midship. Great places for plenty of sun or shade all over this boat. The clubs are all cool spots to hang out in. On our cruise, there were MJ, Tina Turner and Madonna impersonators who were all great and, they had tons of interactive game shows and trivia things going on. I hope to be on the Summit again one day and experience her on a normal cruise. I hope some of this helpsvyou plan your trip.

Nothing like cruising, right? If you haven’t, it’s ridiculous. You’re traveling from One paradise or bucket list location to another with your hotel room and restaurants following you everywhere. Meet new people or dint, make new friends or don’t. Enjoy yourselves/yourself or, make every day a party. Memories for life and a drug you won’t want to quit. Cruising is amazing.

Ocean View 4

Cabin 04

Cabin was nice. I was barely in it but it was good enough. It’s a small room but you have what you need. I prefer balconies and a bit more space myself.
