This was my seventh cruise, but my first on Celebrity. I really loved Celebrity, thought it was near perfect! The ship was clean and easy to get around, plus the service was the best we've had on any cruise line (previous cruises were on Princess, HAL, Norwegian and Carnival). This was also the first time we decided to book a room with a balcony, and even though we don't spend a lot of time in our room, we really enjoyed having a quiet place to sit and relax in the late afternoons.

The food in the main dining room was very good, not great, but we never had a bad meal. We decided to try the Select dining (anytime dining) and loved it. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a table. All three specialty restaurants were very good, and a nice change from the main dining room on a longer cruise. The buffet on the 14th floor was the best, lots of variety, and I loved that late nite snacks were available after the shows. The only complaint I have was the charge of $3 for orange juice at the Sunday brunch, and the constant push to sell bottled water.

The rooms (Concierge class) were standard size, but very comfortable. I could have used a little extra drawer space for my clothes, but I'm sure I'd feel that way in almost any cabin! Entertainment was OK, the standard Broadway type reviews, but both comedians were excellent. I also loved the dance classes, culinary and scrapbook activities on sea days. The glass blowing show was interesting, but something you'd only care to see once.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1079 had a slight view obstruction (a white cage hanging above the right side of our balcony) but otherwise was a very good cabin. If your view is very important to you, this might bother you.
