This was our 4th cruise, 1st on Carnival, and it was by far our BEST. We had read reviews before we sailed and had our doubts about several areas, but if we had a problem it was minor and not enough to ruin our vacation.
Embarkation: There were a large number of people, but the process was very well organized. Time from stepping off the bus to stepping on the ship was less than 30 minutes.
Muster Drill: Well organized and informative.
Elevators: The elevators were crowded on Embarkation day (to be expected). After that we never had a problem.
Guest services desk: We went twice to ask questions and were given prompt and courteous attention.
Cabin: Our room steward did an outstanding job (thank you Argus). There was more than adequate storage.
Room Service: We ordered room service several mornings and always received what we ordered in less than ten minutes.
Lido Food: For breakfast we never had to wait in line. At lunch, there were enough options that you could find something that didn’t have a long line. People have complained about the tables not being cleaned off and the food temperature, but we never had a problem with either.
Crimson Dining: We had excellent service (thank you Melody and Joe). We always received our food promptly and had no complaints.
The Chef’s Art Steakhouse: The food was excellent, but we received better service from Melody and Joe in our main dining.
Deck Chairs: We had read several complaints about people not being able to find chairs, but there were always ample chairs.
Shows: Some were better than others. Dancing in the Street is a must see. You must get there early to get a seat. The Comedy Club shows were good, but could use a little better crowd control organization.
Debarkation: Very organized and smooth.
We definitely cruise with Carnival again!
