This was our (husband & I's) fourth cruise on Carnival. This time however, we had decided to spend a week in Florida and then, end the vacation with a three day cruise with several friends.
We arrived at Port Canaveral on Dec 11th at approximately 11:00 am and included amongst our group of friends, was one wheelchair bound person. We were all very impressed with the immediate courtesy and assistance that we received for her while trying to board ship. The entire boarding process was less than 30 minutes.
Due to our arriving early, our rooms were not available yet, so we choose to have lunch in the liddo deck. The liddo deck food is best described that Carnival's emphasis is on quantity, rather than quality. Although, I must admit it is edible. I noticed immediately that the non alcoholic drinks were very limited. It was either coffee, tea, water, lemonade, lemonade and more lemonade. I don't know what happened to fruit drinks that were once offered.
Adequate room in cabin
Very noisy in hallways at night by other passengers
Would be nice to add Irons in room
Would be really nice to be able to turn on TV to find local weather for region
The mattress on the bed- was phenomenal
