We flew to San Juan the day before and stayed at the Galarey Inn in Old San Juan. Located in 6 1700's townhomes. Very artsey. EMBARKATION: Arrive at the dock at 12:30 to a wild mess. No help from the personnel as to where to go. After a while we got into the holding room with about 500 other passangers. By 2:00 we got to the agent to discovered they did not have a room card for us. At 2:30 we had the card but we were denied boarding to the ship because it was coded wrong. After 21/2 hours we are off the the room. The ship staff was all over the ship and in all of the elevators to help you find your way to your room. ROOM: Balcony room. Nice layout. Large closet and compact bath. I am 5' 10" and 200 lbs - the shower was fine but if you are any larger it would be tight. Jannette was the attended. Never had an issue. I gave her $20.00 when we first met her and she took care of us (towels, ice etc). SHIP: Was too large for me. At 113,000 tons it is just too big to have the feel of a ship. All personnel were cheery. Ship was spotless. A well run staff. DINNING: We had Anytime Dinning. Went to the dinning room around 7:30 each night. Never had trouble getting a table. Servise was good and the quality was good. Went to the steak resturant and Italian resturant which were very good even for the extra charge (I think $20.0 or $30.00 per person). The buffets had a wide varity of food for breakfast and lunch and not that hard to get a table. They also had on deck pizza, hambergers etc and ice cream. ENTERTAINMENT: We went to Piano Man and one other show. Both were good. The comedean that played the piano was good. The casino was too smokey. PORTS: We didn't take any tours. Did things on our own. I would recommend visiting the local tourist desk when on shore. They are local people that I found very helpful. Bonnaire, Gradna and Aruba were the best. Conclusion: I would recomend this cruise to anyone. Well worth the cost.

Cabin Review

Good layout, balcony had 2 chairs and a round table. Queen bed which was firm but we liked it. Lot of drawes and a large open closed. Lot of shelves in the bath.
