We read a lot of reviews prior to booking so we feel obligated to make some comments. Booked cruise online with a special $200 credit voucher. Arranged accommodation prior on "www.hotwire.com" we booked the mystery hotel. Do your research and you can almost guess the hotel with a good discount to any other internet/travel agent rate. Book your transport before you travel and save. We used Enterprise, they have special rates on taxis/limo to and from the airport as well as hire cars on all the islands. Hiring a car is not for everyone. However if you have a group of 4 or more and don't mind driving on the other side of the road this is the most economical way to travel. Being Aussies we believe in when in Rome do what the Romans do. We tipped everyone who provided a service. 15% for good and 10% for bad! Porters $1 a bag and $2 to make your bed! The cruise staff were excellent! We only tipped the people who made our beds $10 when we arrived and $10 when we left. A service charge is included on your drinks and on your bill. If we ever needed something extra for the room we had it straight away. Kids loved the buffet and if you go to the Cadillac Diner you can take a meal to your room. Breakfast/Dinner we ate at several restaurants and always had good food and service. Piano bar was hard to avoid after a busy day on the island, Lauren providing some helpful advice on the next island while serving a cocktail. Lava Flow, Mud Slide, Mai Tai......... Kids loved playing Dodge Ball, Table Tennis, Water Volley Ball, Gym (16 and over) and the POOLS! We spend 4 days on Hawaii prior to the cruise and 2 days after. My wife and daughter enjoyed the shopping while the boys and I spent quality time at the beach and pool. Sensational hassle free holiday, relaxing and would recommend it to friends!
