As the English prayer goes,"Lord, Save us from the Norsemen'" I would say."Travel Agent, save me from Holland America." We took the 17 day "Norther Lights" cruise to Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, etc. Let me site some of the issues:
1. Arrived a day early to be greeted by a HAL representative who kept us waiting at the baggage collection point for over an hour before we got on the shuttle to a Holiday Inn, 10 minutes away.
2. Next day we all (about 70 people) met in the lobby for transit to the dock. Person who was the HAL representative was absolutely confused. One bus was late and the whole process was a mess. Arrived dockside to be met with more confusion. Boarding was a nightmare with insufficient help.
