As I stated above this was our best cruise experience to date. From the day we arrived to the day we left (which we did not want to leave) was a great experience. As we all know there are different cruise lines and ships come in different sizes, after this cruise my wife and family feel the Freedom Class Series with Royal Caribbean is the one for us. I know you are asking so what set this ship apart from the others. I will tell you. The Freedom is a large ship 160,000 ton so much to see and so much to to be honest you can not see and enjoy it all in a week, you need more time. What we felt when on this ship even though it is large you never feel lost and even though there were 3,800 passenger and crew we never felt crowded. We never had to wait in the windjammer or any of the restaurants on the ship. We were told there were around 700 kids under the age of 16 but to be honest we did not notice them as Royal did a fantastic job making sure the younger crowd stayed in their dedicated area of the ship and when walking through that part of the ship it appeared they had a lot of things to do ranging from a great pool to all the ice cream cones they wanted. The food was fantastic, even though chose "my time dining" we ate at Chops or Ruffino's 5 of the nights. Trust me Ruffino's is the place to eat if you cruise on the Freedom. The only negative thing I have to say about the food is the Pizza, it is bad. We have been on 5 Royal cruises now and the pizza on all of them taste like store bought frozen pizzas. If an executive from Royal reads this, I one piece of advise, the pizza on Carnival is fantastic, maybe Royal needs to see what they do. But trust me the rest of the food we have no complaints about. The crew on the ship was top notch, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, you can tell they loved their jobs and people. We had a Owners Suite therefore we were able to use the Concierge lounge and if you take the Freedom Fernando is a a great man and he will bend over backwards to help you, also I hope you get the pleasure on meeting Sydney, the bartender who was assigned on our cruise to make our drinks. If you get to meet both or either of these guys, please tell them Mike from the November 29Th cruise says hello. If you happen to use the specialty restaurant's please make sure you run down the manager Baris from Turkey, he will make sure your meals are 100% top notch. We are not big fans of Cruise Directors but Allen the cruise Director on the Freedom made going to the shows every enjoyable and seeing him around the ship with all his enthusiasm was great to see. Our room Steward, Diago was like a ninja, ver nice guy, but man he would come in clean our room make it look great and we might have only left our room for 5-10 minutes. Plus the towel animals he did wee awesome each night. The shows were great and if you go on the Freedom you have to see the Ice Show, these skaters are definitely athletes as well as entertainers. I hope this helps a little when you are thinking about the Freedom, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Cabin Review

Cabin Sui

We had the cabin 1648, the owners suite. Great size, allot of storage and with over 600 square feet the room is very comfortable. The only negative part of the room the walk in shower could have been a little larger.
