After paying enough money for this 6 night vacation (that included this cruise) to get a better and real vacation, I was very annoyed that this cruise lived up to my expectations of being awful.

1st problem: cabin assignment. I paid good money for an upgrade, and wasn't assigned a nicer cabin until I complained about it. They assigned an 8th deck cabin, but they tried to pawn off worse cabins before finally assigning a nicer cabin. When going with a normal cruise line booking, you can book your cabin, and know exactly what you're getting.

Cabin review: It was fine. It had a TV that didn't work with american dvd players so hooking up anything to it was out of the question. Also, there's no power outlets in the cabin because it's on a european standard too.

Cabin Review

The queen bed cabin with the 2 upper bunks offered plenty of room.

It was about as roomy as some other cruise ships. This was the "best" room though, and it was probably only slightly better than some interior cabins on a cheaper cruise with more nights.
