Embarkation: Disasterous! Port of Miami is just total chaos. Had it not been for visually seeing the ship, we would not have known where to go. Once inside, it got worse. The cruise before ours was a repositioning cruise from Europe. Apparently, INS did not know this and did not schedule enough help to process all of the immigration paperwork. We were there at 10:15 am and did not board the ship till 3:45pm. To make matters worse, the terminal had only 2 vending machines and one of which was out of order. A little upset that RCCL did not at least offer bottles of water and some cookies. People were hungry!
Cabin: We opted for an inside cabin because it was very inexpensive. It was very nice and actually quite roomy.
Cruise: The cruise was awesome! It made up for the long wait to get on the ship. The ship itself is truely a work of art. We never had a long wait for the elevators. The food was very good. Chops Grille was outstanding! The only detail that I think needs to be addressed is the turm used for the mini golf course needs to be replaced real quick.
Because we were going to be gone for a total of 9 days (5 night cruise then 4 nights in Ft Lauderdale for Thanksgiving), we packed a lot. I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to unpack 4 large suitcases and a garment bag. The closet is very large and there are wire shelves inside of the closet to one side. There were plenty of drawers and cubby holes to store stuff. The bathroom even had a nice medicine cabinet and all of our toiletries fit with room to spare. The bed seemed bigger than a queen. Very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest to RCCL is invest in flat screen t.v.'s in the near future. This would free up some more space on the desk/vanity.
