Let me begin by saying that the Carnival Spirit is a fine ship...the cruise staff were competent and friendly. Our room was clean and well designed; and a variety of entertainment was offered. Cabin 8?

Our cabin was fine...it was in the aft section looking out...balancy was fine...There were a few "thumps" each morning from the placement of the deck chairs in the morning but the room was otherwise quiet (we were on deck 8)...we had plenty of storage space and the bathroom was certainly large enough...and like everyone else we had a great room steward...I was especially impressed that he addressed each of us by our first name and was very engaging...
