Let me introduce myself I am an American man 63yrs old travelling with my wife. We are both very active and in good shape for long stressful walks. While are tastes may be different from you from Great Btrian or Western Europe we would like to share our experinces on the Azamara Quest from October 17th-October 31st 2009. We live in Phoenix Arizona and are semi- retired.

Our first sighting of this vessel was impressive. All the basics are here on a smaller ship with a maximum of 700 passengers. This ship is very clean and well maintained at all times. The boarding process is simple and fast. Once through the terminal station we were greeted by several crew members and offered a cool beverage of our choice. Upon enetering the ship you are met again at guest services were more beverages were offered to the lovely sounds of Harp being played. Although our room was not ready at arrival, we were allow to place our carry-on items with guest services who assurred us they would be delivered with our luggage in about 45 minutes. We were encourage to go up to the buffet restaurant for lunch and take a tour of the ship. Upon conclusion of this, our cabin was ready and all the luggage had arrived. Very good sevice and an introduction to our butler and cabin attendant. ( the lunch buffet upon arrival was excellent with many choices )

Everywhere you go you see officers and crew mingling with the passengers. My opinion is this was one the happiest crews I have encountered sailing on any line including Celebrity. One day on the cruise even the captain was serving lunch to the passengers on the pool deck buffet. Surprise! Surprise!
