Sensational Sensation
This is our 7th cruise, 4th on Carnival, and 3rd with our toddler son.

Embarkation was a breeze. Arrived at 11:30am in the parking lot and was on the Lido deck eating lunch at noon. Our room was ready at 1:30pm on the dot.

We had a balcony room on the Empress deck, aft starboard. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was nice, hot water and great pressure in the shower, and the shampoo and body wash was the best Carnival has ever had. The balcony glass was covered with salt spray and the room was dusty.

Our steward showed up at 6pm and introduced himself and we never saw him again. The room was never over the top clean and straight, but fine just the same.

Food was good in the Lido buffet and dining room. Room service was quick and tasty, and servers in dining room were great.

Crusie Director was worse we ever had on any crusie line. He was boring, old jokes, and everytime he spoke on stage he rambled on. It was noticeable to us and others we heard commenting about it.

Halloween evening the staff went above and beyond making it enjoyable for all the kids on the ship. The ship was well decorated, staff catered to the kids by handing out candy on a "trick or treat" route throughout the decks, and the photo stations that night were themed for Halloween with creepy back drops and professional costumes for you to be photographed in.

Disembarkation was quick! We used the self assist method and were called to leave at 7:00am and we were in our car at 7:25am!
