The Pearl is a beautiful ship. It was incredibly clean and easy to navigate. The Crew was helpful and polite. Our service throughout the ship was professional, courteous, and helpful. Room: We had a balcony on the 9th deck forward. This is the way to go. The cabin was relatively spacious. Plenty of storage for two with enough hangars in the closet. We were able to store our suitcases under the bed with ease. The room was cleaned daily early. One day we were left only one towel. I received another towel from housekeeping within 10 minutes of me calling. The balcony was also very clean with two comfortable chairs and a small table. It was lovely to watch the sunrise/sunsets ever day, or relax with a book when we wanted some privacy. The bathroom was very small but serviceable. Food: The meals were fantastic. We only ate in one specialty restaurant - Le Bistro. It was wonderful. The service was attentive, the swordfish outstanding, and the steak so tender, and not to mention the ambiance - very romantic. Otherwise, we at in the Main Dining Rooms for the other meals. Our favorite was the Summer Palace - very beautiful. Again, the service was very nice. I'm not a big fish eater but I ate fish every night! And loved it! Indigo was nice, too, but a little more frantic. (The jerk chicken was the best I've ever had, even better than in Jamaica). The asst Maitre'd, Mr. Malik, was exceptional. My wife has a food allergy and Mr. Malik made certain she could eat without any risk. Indigo and Summer Palace serve the same menus; I don't know why more people don't eat in the Summer Palace. It's bigger and beautiful. We took advantage of the freestyle and ate at different times every night. We never had to wait. The Blue Lagoon was fine; we only ate there once for a late lunch. The buffet was superb for breakfast but I was a little disappointed at supper. The food was lackluster and warm at best. The buffet would be good if you are traveling with children, though. The restaurants were superior. The entertainment was good. We thought the June Ann Ryan were a little hokey, but "cruise ship" hokey. The comedian and Shark Bait were hysterical. We also enjoyed the beer bar and lounges on board. We did two shore excursions - Cayo Levantando in Samana and The Baths in Tortola. Both were quite enjoyable. We really were impressed with Cayo Levantando. The reviews online were iffy at best, but we thought the beach was stunning, the snorkeling incredible, the beach bbq was nice, and the beer cold and cheap!

Cabin BC

Cabin 9522 is in the perfect location. It is right by the stairs/elevator and very quiet. The bed is extremely comfortable. Storage for two was more than adequate; suitcases/packages fit easily under the bed. We would book this same cabin again.
