Let me start by saying that if this cruise had been my first on Carnival and not my fifth I would not cruise with them again. Cabin Steward did her job well with cabin buy didn't even smile at us till last full day of cruise. Had late seating in Truffles dining room, switched to open seating due to slow and surly service. Dinner took 2+ hours and on a side-note it took 1 hour to get a ginger-ale after requesting it 3 times. Switched to open seating out of frustration. This worked out well, never waited longer than 5 minutes for a table and wait staff was attentive and friendly. Ate one night in Golden Fleece service and food were excellent. Lido deck buffet was mediocre, zeroed in on salad bar and sandwich station for any consistency. Bar staff on the whole was good.

Getting on and off the ship was relatively quick and easy, we like to use carry-on luggage on warm climate cruises. Shore excursions were the standard fare.

Ship was well maintained and cabins have been made quieter as newer vessels enter the fleet. This ship's decor was a little more "over the top" then on previous Carnival ships we have cruised on.
