Last week we got off the Paradise and I can say without a doubt I had a wonderful time! Not because of the cruise but because of the company I was with. I went with 13 other ladies to just have a fun and forget the everyday world of taking care of kids and the husbands. There were pros and cons just like any cruise.....

Embarkation: Carnival has got this down to a fast, painless process. We flew into LAX and booked our shuttle through Save-On (I highly recommend them by the way...fast, friendly and not expensive!) Once we arrived we checked our luggage with the porters and went through security. We got there at about 2:30 and there were no lines. All in all it took 15 mins and we are on the ship.

The ship itself is a smaller, older ship but they do a great job at keeping clean and pretty. The layout is easy enough and we found it very easy to get around.
