In a nutshell, this cruise was very nice. Service was good, ship was beautiful and clean, and food was above average. We arrived at the port at 12:00 noon. There was already a long line formed waiting for entry into the embarkation area. There was no special line for Platinum or Elite status passengers which I thought was poorly planned. If you didn't know to CUT the line you would have waited 30+ minutes like everyone else to even get into the next line for check-in. The other disappointment with the priority boarding was that you could not bring your guests/travel companions with you into that line. You could only bring your cabin mate. There were 6 of us, all booked on the same booking. I felt that my Platinum status should have allowed me to bring them in early with me. Just my opinion on that. The lines to check in were fairly slow moving. No one greeted us at the gangway to show us to our room. You were left to wander around the ship on your own. We made our way up to the main areas on the pool deck and watched some Sunday afternoon football on the big screen outside. That was neat.

Our room was very nice. Highly recommend this layout for an inside cabin.(R407) There are only 8 of these on our deck. Not sure about the rest of the ship, but these type cabins are quite limited. They are wide instead of deep and the room seems twice as large. We had lots of closet space and counter space with plenty of room to move around. We had six people in there quite regularly and it was not uncomfortable at all.

The layout of the ship is hard to figure out. This has been a comment of previous reviews as well. Not many of the main decks go all the way through. You find yourself going down or up to cross to the other side of the ship. Kind of frustrating..especially after a few cocktails.

Cabin Review

R407. Quiet, spacious, nice layout for inside cabin. Close proximity to main areas on higher decks.
