We used a travel agency to book our vacation that is really the way to go they have a lot of great Information and knowledge of the cruise ships.  Okay first let me start off by saying "Wow". I have always used some sort of review website to check out my vacation and always found them very helpful in making my decision. After reading several reviews about freedom of the seas and actually going on I had to leave a review. We were a group of 10 leaving from different locations. My husband and mother in law left from Atlanta to Orlando the flight was short and sweet. We actually had my husband cousin pick us up and take us to the pier so I can't talk about the shuttle service but they range from $50 and up per person depending on the amount of passengers in you group we arrived at the pier around 11am and to my surprise the check in was great. You have to do the online check in through Royal Caribbean's website it saves a lot of time we were on the ship at noon eating lunch at 12.30 the rest of our party also had a smooth check in after eating lunch we ventured to check out the ship this ship should be called "The Mammoth of the Seas". With over 4,000 passengers not once did I feel over crowded everyday there are tons of things to do so If a reviewer says that they are board they are just boring people There were over 14 different nationalities onboard but you know that they say you can't please everybody in my opinion Royal Caribbean had done a wonderful job with their decor, food, entertainment and countless activities. Everything started on time and was well planned and very entertaining. FOOD: let's just say I gained 5lbs the windjammer served a buffet style with several varieties so there was something for everyone breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a more elegant dining there were three main dining The Leonardo, Isaacs and Galileo we were seated in the Isaac with is located on Deck 4 the Leonardo is on Deck 3 and that is where the Captains table is. Our head waiter oh my I can't remember his name he was excellent and so was his assistant Karen as well my mom joked with him about bringing her out some "Collard Greens" but he didn't know what she meant and brought her out some colored greens (peas, carrots, corn etc.) that was so funny but he was from Jamaica and they call it Callao I know that isn't the proper spelling. We didn't go to any of the specialty restaurant so can't talk about them. No they do not offer the Midnight buffet but they have what is call the "FreedomFest" there they showcase some Ice sculptures, towel animals and fruit carvings and many more. Johnny rockets didn't get a chance but was on Adventure of the Seas and it was good. Overall the food was good I really enjoyed the lobster tails my husband enjoyed the prime rib... ACTIVITIES: Ice Skating, Karaoke, Mini Golf, Rockwall, golf Simulator, Flowrider and a lot more FLOWRIDER: This is a must do but if you wear contact take them out or wear goggles you will lose them I did the boogie board did not get a chance to do the stand up my husband did the standup It was a lot of fun but yes you will wipe out. ROCKWALL: Okay. I couldn't lift my weight up the wall from eating so much "LOL" It was hilarious I know this is a long review trying to sun it up as much as possible. The Cruise director Richard Spacey is hilarious he had me laughing you got to see the "love and Marriage show it's similar to the Newlywed game. The Quest is and adult scavenger game funny...and anything else that he is doing. My mom thought Richard was sooo cute..."LOL" They have the sexy leg, belly flop, canon ball, pool volleyball and dodge ball passenger against the crew and so many more activities you will have a wonderful time on Freedom of the Seas. SOLARIUM: Is for adults only...Yea... It is a Jacuzzi that over hangs the side of the ship so it seems like you are sitting in the middle of the ocean. My darling husband lost his engagement ring somewhere in that area we went to lost and found on that Tuesday and no one had turned it in so we went on with vacation then on Friday I wanted some pizza from Sorrento's so we went down to get some and the lost and found desk is on the same side so we decided to stop and check and YES someone had found it and returned it I couldn't believe it was an expensive ring but the meaning of the ring was priceless we wanted to thank the person but they wouldn't give out that Information so If you are the person who FOUND my husband's ring THANK YOU... PORTS: We pick this Itinerary to be on the F.O.S we have actually been to all ports except Coco cay. COCOCAY: Is Royal Caribbean's private Island you have to be tendered to the Island It is basically a BEACH with some water activities don't expect anything more they have tons of beach chairs, hammocks, food everything you need on a beach. Jet skis, snorkeling my only wish is that they stopped there on the way back because it is really relaxing there and plus I was trying to preserve my hair from getting wet until after the 1st formal night...LOL. ST. THOMAS: Jewelry, Jewelry and Jewelry ST. MAARTEN: A beautiful Island with two sides Dutch and French take a tour to see both there are plenty of great photo spots If you have never experienced a nude beach go to "Orient Beach" It brings a whole new meaning to swim suits. AT SEA DAYS: I was a little concerned about two straight days at sea but it was great so much to do onboard. I even went to a belly dance class...LOL. There are so many activities I can't list them all Okay I hope I summed this up for you we all had a blast I am looking to book my next cruise on "The Oasis of the Seas" De-boarding was a breeze they are really well organized Oh yea before I forget In your documentation it says you can bring a travel Iron well that has changed they will take them but you can get it back at the end of the trip please excuse my grammar I hope this is helpful to you ... Enjoy

The Promenade room was a waste because when you look out the window your staring at the room across from you so you could never leave the curtain open
