Overall a great cruise and we enjoyed ourselves. We always try to go on Princess as we have been pleased wtih the cruise line overall.

The embarkation process has greatly improved and went without a hitch and very quickly. We were settled in our cabin within 30 minutes and the same with debarkation process. We carried our bags off, which expedited the process--I recommend it if you can do that.

Unfortunately, we were not particularly pleased with the entertainment in the Princess Theatre this time--the shows were not up to par for Princess. The first night's performance was the worst we have heard from Princess, but thank goodness, they rebounded with a wonderful entertainer in Bert Stratton--a truly gifted musician who commanded a great crowd. Enjoyed him as much as anything yet on any cruise. Could leave off the comedian and magician. The entertainment in the Princess Theatre was not geared to the age group on board.

Perfect condition and our steward was wonderful--no problems! We love the balcony accommodations.

Port and Shore Excursions

We are also familiar with Maine and especially Bar Harbor so we rented a car here and drove to Cadillac Mountain, ate at Jordan Pond, etc., but the weather wasn't in our favor--still had a nice time. It's beautiful in Acadia National Park even in the miserable cloudy weather.

Love Boston! We went on the Freedome Trail and to other areas of interest and did not take any of the cruise tours. You can do your own thing in Boston.

Nice place. We took no tours here either, but visited the Maritime Museum and walked along the Boardwalk. Nice place.

Nice. We were familiar with the port previously so we didn't take any tours. We just walked around and rode a bus to check out the sights and the homes. We had toured before, so this was not a new port for us.

Okay, but very little to do here. It's beautifully clean and people were delightful. We just walked around and looked. The market is interesting.
