We sailed on the Carnival Legend out of Tampa on October 4, 2009. Our family of 7 were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We had 2 teens, 3 middle age adults and 2 golden-agers. Everyone enjoyed the cruise. In very general terms, the ship was very clean, the staff were all pleasant and helpful, the food was all good and plentiful. The weather and seas were very favorable on this trip. The ship held 2300 passengers and 1000 crew members. Some specific points follow:

The embarkation process was very smooth and lunch is available for you on the Lido deck (deck 9). It was very crowded at lunch but there were many food stations and you can eventually find a place to sit.

On Grand Cayman we got off the boat and took a cab to the public beach (5$ per person). The beach was free, with wooden cabanas and changing facilities. There was food and drink on the beach.
