Being Platinum makes a lot of difference and is a very nice goal to attain or reach for. Getting on was a breeze, we drove to the port around 11 and was onboard by 11:45 having a bite to eat in Rosie's. If the lifeboat drills were imposed on animals the Society for cruelty to Animals would have protested long ago and got it stopped. I enjoyed reading on the cruise critic that they are NOW being done away with and I pray that will be true. There is NO need for that (civilized persons should be able to see a safety movie and presentation to cover it better and in a more comfortable environment),having been thru 23 of them so far we made a promise to ourselves of NO more in that fashion anyway. That was the only Bad in our Cruise anyway other than they made us get off Sunday morning. The food was fantastic and we had table 182 in the Lincoly Dining room with the best waiter and busboy there are. Good Company,(now friends for life we pray) Great food and the only thing that could have made it nicer would have been for them to have been able to sit and enjoy the meals with us, but that couldn't be. If anyone goes hungry.. shame on them IF they ever admit it. To show how small the world is, we ran into some friends we had made on the Caribbean Princess in 2005,and were able to meet & spend some time with them and have a few more laughs and just enjoy the company again. Thanks Mark & Diane. All the ports and staff were fine and as everyone knows it all depends on our individual attitudes whether or not it is good or bad. We expect a good time and can say we have never had a bad cruise on any Ship. We had to dock in Key West for a medical emergency so we got to see the port there as an added bonus, for us anyways.

Our only suggestion is that, with all the information published and signs galore on all kinds of subjects, when it comes to disembarking on Sunday mornings there were NO directions as far as where to meet or line up for the Platinum Self Assist to line up. That would only make it easier for everyone involved. It wasn't a biggie as we found someone to direct us, we wound up being about 7 or 8th in line behind the wheel chairs, and we were in our car at 7:40 heading back to I-95.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

Great location, but noisy at times due to laundromat across the hall & the late night music from the Lobby. Would willing sub a couple of feet of cabin space for a larger balcony.
