We just returned from a week on the Majesty, and Bermuda. The entire experience was charming. Our state room was plenty big. The service wonderful. The meals in the dining rooms were 5 and 6 course and like family holiday dinners each one. We were with a group of 10 and were accommodated every meal. The buffets were great for breakfast and lunch and we love sitting outside on the decks to eat. The shrimp cocktails on deck 10 dinner buffet were HUGE! We found a semi private sun deck on level 8. No cocktail waiters there and it was nice and quiet. We danced the night away to the Sandy-Lyn duo. They were excellent, exactly what we loved to dance too and were so friendly and professional. We had some high seas coming back but it was fun! The ship did rock and roll a bit but it added to the adventure. Bermuda was charming. Not ruined by commercial anything and the cottages were so pretty. No Starbucks, fast food or Best Buy to ruin the scenery. After reading the terrible reviews we were so relieved to have such a great time. The ship is being sold at the end of the month, it's small compared to some I'm told, but our service, food and destination was perfect. We had a great vacation.Cruising is such a great way to have a reunion, a so perfect for women- I didn't do a dish, scrub a toilet, make a bed or a MEAL for a full week - thank you for that!
We only went to Bermuda. The beaches are fabulous. We snorkeled at Clarks beach. We took a taxi there and back. We toured the entire island by bus. We were with a group and it was very informative. I'm glad I wasn't driving there. We went to the Princess Hotel to shop and have lunch. It's lovely. Everyone seemed so thrilled to have a cruise ship dock in Hamilton.
