Before I go into the description of the cruise, let me first address a common theme that has been taking place on cruises out of puerto rico. I have read numerous complaints about Puerto rican familes and thier kids on cruise ships. How rude and loud puerto rican people are and how they have no control of thier kids aboard cruise ships. I am not a racist person and my girlfriend and I decided to reserve judgement. However upon completing the cruise I have to agree that there are some serious issues that carnival needs to look into with regards to the Puerto Rican people that cruise. While its not all, we found that most puerto ricans were rude and VERY LOUD. They seem to just let thier kids just run loose with no regard to what they do. On several occassions we heard puerto rican people yelling, screaming and running down the hallways at like 3am. I am not against having a good time and partying. But when you are disturbing other people on the ship its not acceptable. I dont know if the puerto rican people think they are on the only people on board, even though they were over half the ship population or they just dont care. I also dont get why groups of puerto ricans feel the need to yell "PUERTO RICO" as loud as they can. I could care less if they are from puerto rico or not and most non PR cruisers feel the same way.I wasnt runnin around yelling " CALIFORNIA".This was very ANNOYING. My friends and I almost got into a physical fight with some puerto ricans whose kids were throwing water balloons at people as they walked by from the pool. They hit my girlfriend in the face with a balloon and the parents just looked the other way. Things become very heated after I told them what I thought of them letting thier kids run all over the ship like wild monkeys. The Puerto Ricans also monoplozied the pools, cut in line at the buffets and were very " clickish". In regards to the pools I would not have swam them anyway with all the urine that was in them. Ok on to the cruise.

SAN JUAN: Cruised ( 9/27-10/4) we stayed at the Hotel Milano, Lachondra, and the courtyard Marriott. We had fund as we hit the beach, did some sight seeing and shopping before the cruise. I was a little bummed as we could not do the bioluminence bay tour because of the moon. All-in all we have a good time. The taxi here are EXPENSIVE take the bus or rent a car if you plan on going anywhere out of San Juan. I would advise taking rental car insurance as well and they drive crazy in PR.
