A big city port difficult to navigate, hire a ride or be prepared to use GPS.Cabins clean and service to compare with all good reviews. Impressed by the staff of the whole ship to be friendly.
I really didn't like the variability of the dine around dinner stewards but that's the biggest drawback of the dine around option. The food has gone the way of the airlines. That is mass produced and variable in quality. We tried out the optional dining and the staff was more attentive, the atmosphere quieter and the food selection up to par with cruise fare of 10 years ago.
Tried the Lido style serve yourself dining in the Raffles and there were lots of choices but mostly of low class. Probably the worst buffet deserts of any cruise ship that I have sampled. Of course with all the buffet choices one can find something you like in taste even though it is still cafeteria style. At an average of 1+ cruises per year I can say that this was the biggest minus of this ship.
