First off let me just say this was the best cruise ever. My husband and I are both in our late 40's and we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This ship is awesome and beyond compare to the 2 previous cruises that we had taken aboard Carnival ships. We had wanted to be on this ship for several years and considered the ship as our destination not so much the ports of call. This ship did not disappoint us in any way. From the minute we hit the pier for emabarkation we knew we were in for something special. The emabarkation was the fastest and smoothest we have ever had and took us all of 10 minutes from the time we dropped off our luggage until the time we were being welcomed aboard the beautiful and massive ship. We found the staff to be attentive and amazing by the 2nd day must of them remembered our name and our likes and dislikes. We had a balcony room on deck six ( 6296) and the most attentive and amazing cabin steward Margaret. She left our room spotless and every night we were welcomed by the cutest towel animals on the sea. We had first (main ) dining in Leonardos tabel (314) and had Orphan from Turkey as our waiter (oh my God) this was his catch phrase and each night the service we received from him and his assitant was beyond compare. The food in the dinning room was well prepared and we never had any complaints and we sure never left hungry, Orphan made sure of that. The second night aboard we had dinner in Portafinos and I have to say this food was awesome and well worth the extra money, the service was stellar. We found the activites staff fun and entertaining and the CD Allen Brooks was amazing and keep the ship in stitches with his antics. We never had to look for something to do, we were kept very busy from the time we got up until the time we went to bed. The pool areas and the solarium was one of our nightly haunts as we used the Adults only hot tubs each night. The clubs and common areas were beautifully decorated and kept spotless and the service in the bars and coffee shop and pizza place was wonderful. The promonade had something for everyone and the milkshakes at Johnny Rockets was one of the best I have ever had. The ports of call were great and Sidney the Super Shopper prepared us well before each port of call. Coco Cay was spectacular and the Coco Locos were to die for, we had several and spend most of the day laying in the hammocks basking in the sun. We purchased several pictures that were taken aboard and never had any regrets as they were very well done. We also bought art at the art auctions with no complaints. In closing we can without a doubt state this was the best cruise and vacation that we have ever taken and we will always cruise with RCI from now on.

Cabin Review

Cabin Blk

Our cabin was great, good closet space and the shower with the glass enclosures was so much nicer that the plastic shower drapes that is on our lines. The bed was the most comfortable and the balcony had enough space to enjoy our breakfast and to watch the sunrise and sunsets.
