I have just returned from my first cruise on the Island Escape, which departed from Palma and visited Sardinia, Corsica, Naples, Rome and Menorca. My expectations were not high having read other reviews, and these reviews were in my opinion quite accurate.

The ship is incredibly tired and needs a full re-fit. We had a cabin right at the front of the ship, and the noise on coming into port, and the noise from some rather rough weather meant that on several nights we got very little sleep. I would highly recommend to anyone to avoid the front of the ship cabin-wise!

Whilst in the main the staff were helpful and friendly, the food wasn't great but it was plentiful. The Beachcomber is always busy and it's always difficult to find anywhere to sit.

Cabin Review

Tired, very small. Incredibly noisy when coming into port, and really not a nice place to be in rough weather!
