We flew into Barcelona early on the morning of out departure. A 30 euro taxi ride took us directly to the port at 10.31am and we were aboard by 11am. It was great to get aboard early so that we could explore the ship as there were very few passengers aboard. Although, we were still exploring the ship until the last day as it huge and there is so much to see. We dined every night at 7pm in La Boheme. The 3 tier dining room is an incredible feature of the ship and the food was excellent. Our waiters, Eddison and Alexander were outstanding and they kept us entertained every night. We did the two formal nights, if your going on a cruise then it is a must do event. The shows were really professional, the best nights were the Beatles tribute, they really got the passengers rocking, and the incredible Ice Show. We had an inside stateroom and it was perfect, after all there was so much to do every day either aboard ship or ashore we were hardly there. Our cabin attendant,Paul was great and very helfull. There were plenty of recliners on deck so no one had to get up early to put towels down. The pool bar staff were great and very friendly, I dont know how they can remember everyones name and what they had to drink. It was ideal to have the first day at sea, we could relax and get to see more of the ship. Our first stop was Naples, not a nice place but once outside the city it is lovely. My better half went to Capri and had a great time, possibly because I wasnt with her, and I went to Pompeii, what an amazing place. Our next stop was Civitaveccia, we didnt go to Rome as we had been there before, so we took a walk around the port. Livorno was next. From there we took a train to Florence (16euro return) I think that the best port of call was Villefranche it was indescribable and it added to the cruise, being tendered on and off the ship. We took a train to Monte Carlo and Nice but the nicest place on the whole holiday was a little village near the port called Eze, high up on a rock overlooking the Voyager and the the French Riviera. Marseille was our last stop but we only went ashore for a short time as we wanted to make the most of our last day aboard ship, that is how much we liked the Voyager. Overall ther was nothing negative about the ship, in fact we didnt want to leave on the Sunday morning. The ship, crew, food, entertainment, and everything to do with the ship made it the best holiday that we have ever had. Royal Caribbean, we will be back.

Cabin Review

Internal cabin. Comfortable. No noise in the hallway.
