Having just returned from the same cruise, I agree with just about everything that Julie Turner says. We were also in the Palm dinning room at 6pm and next to a window, so we must have been near neighbours. This is a great ship, with good food, good service and comfortable cabins. Overall the cruise is good value but as already stated the extras soon add up. We did not do the massage, juices etc but we did a bottle of (house) wine most nights and a couple more excursions. With the compulsory (it isn't really, you can opt out), service charge our bill came to just under $1000. If you do the more expensive excursions, couple of cocktails and better wine each day and some modest expenditure in the Casino, it would be very easy to run to at least $2000 per couple.

Our only disappointment with the whole holiday came on the final day. The internet cafe is expensive and trying to use it on the final evening was stressful with everybody fighting for places. Before we left UK we were told that there were "in Transit" tours of New York available. Once on board we found this was not the case. On the final day you have to leave the ship by 1030am latest. This means you are at JFK airport by 1130. Virgin fights leave at 1830 and 1930 and the desk opens at 1400. Terminal 4 at JFK has nohwhere to sit, so until check in you have a very uncomfortable few hours. Once through departures it is a little better. There are lots of seats and a few bars and shops. I have contacted Virgin and asked them to consider either excursions or early bag drop options. A couple of other useful bits of information: If you just want to "touch base" with home, the library in St John gives 15 minutes free internet access. It is just inside the main Mall. Although they do not publicise it, Princess allow one bottle of wine per person to be brought aboard at each of the stops.
