We had a great time, 9-6-09, Dawn from NYC. NC L's selection of Port Cities (Halifax, St John - New Brunswick, Bar Harbor, Boston and Newport) was terrific. The weather was fantastic overall, even though we were rained on in Newport. We were very impressed that NCL provided its very high ranking officers (Captain, Hotel Director, Food Director, etc) to talk to us at the Cruise Critic Meet-n-greet. These forums are very important to them -they look and evaluate our feedback. Thank you Cruise Critic!

Embarkation and debarkation were very smooth. Thanks to the Forums for the hint that the Venetian Dinning room is open for lunch on embarkation day. You don't have to fight for a table in the Buffet. The shows were very, very professional; a must see each night. The Comedian is every-one's favorite-just forgot his name for a second. The food in the main dinning rooms was above average - the service outstanding!. The specialty restaurants were great too even with the extra charges.

The ship showed a little wear, our balcony's (9076) railing had peeling paint and shellac. The bathroom size was fine. The tendering to shore at some ports was uncomfortable, especially for older people. The people who drove the life boat tenders did not know the proper sailing rules. We thought they acted dangerously.
