I booked 2 rooms one for us and another couple friend. This was their 1st time on a cruise so they loved it however it was our 5th but 1st time with Royal C. I found ship very small compare to others and very crowded on a sea day. Always struggling to find space to sit near the bar area when there is nothing else going on. Also hard work finding seats up in the Windjammer at anytime.
Food in the dinning hall was very poor quality and tasteless though the head person who was looking after our table was trying his best but the chef's compare to WindJammers were not good with our requests and 3 of us were vegetarians. Finally we decided to just eat in Windjammer. Also they closed at 9pm which was too early as lots of people use to get there after the 1 show and people who want to see the 2 show were also trying to eat there as it would close before the 2nd show finished.
Some waiters were friendly and others not, as they struggled with speaking English.
It was clean however did not have good choice of shampoo soap or creams like some other cruises we have travelled before. Also we had to put a chair in front of the cupboard doors at night as it rattled all the time. Felt more juddering may be because we were more at the rear side !!
Lovely place to visit for a day but sadly it rained all the time we were there.
We loved it and perfect place for cyclist lovers. I would go back for the long weekend.
Nothing much to see or do. Just great to get out of the ship !
Lovely place and very original. Loved our walk though at times it was hill.
This was my 2nd visit and every time it looks more beautiful. We had lovely sunny day so walking was fun round the town.
