This Lower Mississippi River round trip cruise, beginning and ending in New Orleans, was sensational from the minute we walked onboard until we disembarked. The crew were all friendly and courteous and attentive to our every need. Our accommodations were excellent. The choices of our offshore complimentary excursions were excellent. I would highly recommend any cruise with American Cruise Lines.

Music was the theme of our cruise and we were well entertained by such professional entertainers as Mike Gentry and the New Orleans Krewe, the New Orleans All Stars, Judy Davis, and Serabee. Jazz, New Orleans style, was the highlight each evening.

The dining experience was beyond excellence. We looked forward to every meal. There was always a choice between two appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts. All the cuisine, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was delicious. Not to mention snacks at cocktail hour and root beer floats and popcorn each evening.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAL

Our cabin was on the 3rd deck near the exit to the stairs. The room was spacious with a dresser, chest, and closet for our clothes and personal belongings. WiFi was provided. The private balcony, which is a must for cruising, had seating to watch all the sights along the Mississippi as we traveled.
